For thousands of years, men have primarily worked as builders, providers and protectors while women have occupied "traditional female roles". In fact, the word "labor," when applied to women, refers to one such roles.

However, in over seven decades of societal transformation, women have flooded institutions and job spaces overtaking men by the numbers. A survey shows that only 31% of women work as an absolute necessity. For the remaining 69%, why does a woman "choose" to work?
